This is part of my successful ARPS panel, “Repeating Calatrava”, in which I explored Santiago Calatrava’s architectural toolkit of geometric forms. The panel includes images taken at his City of Arts and Sciences in Valencia, Spain, Milwaukee Art Museum’s Quadracci Pavilion, USA, and the Liège-Guillemins Railway Station in Belgium.I set out to illustrate his geometry, dreams and light – often as abstract architecture but occasionally with human figures included in the compositions. For this image I waited until the sun created the spotlight effect to mimic stage lighting. -- Submitted to the Street Photography Awards 2018 on lensculture.com
